Shaws Brewery Towers

Shaws Brewery Towers, from Brown Street, looking down the alley running to Back Brown Street. The towers of Shaws Brewery have been a dominant feature of the Leigh sky line for a long time, much has now changed, but they remain a local land mark. They have long since stopped being used as a brewery. But, once the hight of the towers allowed the brewing process to flow "down hill" driven by gravity.
